I have been studying in the scriptures and there are so many wonderful promises. Passages like; “Ask and ye shall be given seek and ye shall find.” Or; “That you may have life more abundantly.” Or messages like; I will fight your battles for you. In another book I learned about something called the Law of Non-Contradiction basically it means that a sentence can be true or cannot be true but it cannot be both. This realization has caused me to reflect extensively on the validity of the scriptures. If I believe that they are truly the word of God and I do then I need to do more than experiment on the word, I need to live as if they are true. It is either true or not true but it cannot be both. That is a wonderful thought, I can decided, I can know for myself. Another passage that hit me profoundly is in James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God and he will give it liberally.” Again if this is a true passage then it becomes a game changer. God has already promised He would give wisdom liberally, I just need to find the key for the heavens to be opened to find the truth.
